Little park with Lake some walking paths

Nice little park with lake, parie dogs, nice horse statues. At entrance a nice tractor history outdoor display of old farm equipment. Nothing to much but a relaxing area to stretch out and enjoy some peace

    Beautiful park
This is probably the nicest park in Lubbock - if you're looking for a scenic view. I would not visit at night as it's not on the best side of town. But, is great for playing golf frisbee, running, golfing, or just enjoying a peaceful afternoon. I wish this area were more built up and the landscape is much prettier than West Lubbock.

Beautiful spot for a run or a picnic
When we moved to Lubbock, we were warned to avoid this very large park because it is "dangerous." While there might be baddies in the park after dark, during the day it is simply beautiful. The old growth trees, creeks and ponds, and many picnic areas make it one of the city's most beautiful places to spend recreation time. The many joggers and walkers along Cesar Chavez, along with a conspicuous police presence also makes it a great place to exercise without fear of hassle.
