Loved It.
So worthwhile to visit this winery. It was our first time! They do tastings and you can purchase t-shirts, wines, etc. A beautiful place and friendly people. We will tell others to visit when they are in Lubbock. May take brother and sister in law next time they are in Texas.

Great fun
See how wine is made in West Texas, the tour is free the people are nice learn a little history about the wine and the region when its done, drink some free wine its a great time and worth the visit lots of history at this winery

Enjoyable tour, friendly and helpful staff
Located just outside Lubbock, the Llano Estacado Winery offers an enjoyable tour. This small and welcoming winery takes you on a short tour through their modern facility in small groups on a pretty much on-demand basis (our group consisted of just our party). The guides are very pleasant and happily answered a large number of questions from the wine novices on the tour. The winery has a small number of grape vines growing on the property (it is located between cotton fields, themselves a sight when blooming in the fall), the overwhelming majority of the grapes come from a number of farms around Texas. As expected, a wine tasting follows the tour. There is no cost for the tour or tasting. We purchased several bottles of wine and other products; the staff went way beyond our expectations in the care they demonstrated in packing the items in bubble wrap as the bottles and jars were being flown home in checked baggage. Note that the Llano Estacado winery will ship to some states but not others, depending on state law. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the wines produced and highly recommend a visit.
