Nuclear plant that didn’t separate atoms
Great vacation trip and business trip because I’m journalist and I wrote about the only nuclear plant in the world that had been built but never in service. It was, as spokesman of electric company said, the only nuclear plant that separated families instead of atoms. Story is great; chancellor of Austria Bruno Kreisky in the 70’s wanted to implement nuclear energy in Austria and asked Austrians if they wanted it. On referendum they voted “no” with 50,4 % of population in spite of atomplant already built. I saw reactor from above and from downder. Remarkable experience. Going there is like you’ve turned back in 70’s because nothing is changed.
