A hidden jewel in the heart of Lowell, MA
This is a beautiful place. It is a traditional looking church, and provides a spiritual oasis in the midst of a busy city. The only downside for it is that it does not promote itself a lot, and it is located on a side street, off the main streets of the city. Because of both these factors, it may not get noticed by as many people as would be ideal. It is staffed by a religious order known as the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (O.M.I.) They offer three Masses a day, and Confession six days a week. The Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy are also prayed six days a week. It also has a gift shop, that, too, is open six days a week. You can park in the garage nearby, and get your ticket validated inside the Shrine. The priests here are very good and faithful, and for the most part, give good homilies and say Mass well. They also give good advice in the Confessional. The church is absolutely beautiful, with many statues, stained glass windows, and votive candles. This place, as it is sometimes referred to, is definitely a "hidden gem in the city of Lowell." I highly recommend making a visit if you can. I believe if you do, you will want to come back often

Beautiful Sanctuary
Attend a mass, light a candle, visit the gift shop. Old world church with a beautiful gift shop if you need something special for a birth, 1st communion or wedding this is the place to visit.
