excellent place to see a concert.
Really nice place to see a concert. The outdoor setting is really nice on a summer night. Parking garage was across the street, $10 event parking. The bathrooms for use during the show were on the bottom first floor of the garage, they were a good size, cleanliness was ok. Second time seeing a show their, we will be back again.

History alive
It was a small display of what the Boarding house would have looked like. Unfortunately the Park is closed (renovations) but we were able to go inside and take a look. In the display you could view what the room of the person who was in charge of the boarding house looked like as well as the kitchen and dining area. One of the displays showed the life story of a few young ladies who moved into the boarding house. In some instances the mill jobs led to other opportunities in their future lives. On the second floor they had a sample of what a boarding house room for the ladies would look like. The room was not too big but yet 4 ladies slept too a room.

Fabulous live events venue
I cannot say enough about the Boarding House Park as a music venue. Professional from start to finish in every aspect. Clean, convenient parking, excellent sight lines from almost any vantage point. Love being able to stake out a spot with chairs and a blanket as early as 7:00 am, then come back for an evening concert.
