Great live, local music
Unless you want to head towards Cambridge or Boston, this is one of the best places to hear great live blues, jazz, funk, etc. James Montgomery, Jamie Lynn Hart, Diane Blue, Chris Fitz, The Love Dogs, Evan Goodrow...no cover charge typically, although did pay to see James. Friendly, intimate, clean, and great mixed drinks by Courtney. If you want food go next door to the Blue Taleh, delicious. Only complaint - no real food or munchies to speak of (just small pizza). Add chips/salsa, cheese/crackers or even peanuts please :) oh and never park in a tow away zone, they WILL tow!

This place has a great vibe and amazing martinis.
I don't think they do comedy anymore, and the bands that play here do not just play jazz (they have a lot of blues artists that play here). We like to come here for drinks and to listen to bands. It is not a huge place but the decor inside is pretty cool and the place just has such a great vibe. There is usually no cover charge when you go. Can't beat live music
Great spot in downtown Lowell. Small, intimate club with lots of different music with kind of an emphasis on blues. Right next door to the Blue Taleh restaurant (think it's the same owners) so they have small plates/apps. Small live music venues are dying out so it's nice to see one that is heavily patronized; would love to see this continue.
