Puerto Fuy at the shore of Lago Pirihueico is a welcoming small town. It is the embarkation/desembarkation port of Lago Pirihueico. You can cross Lago Pirihueico to Puerto Pirihueico in the ferry Hua Hum, reach the border and cross to Argentina through Paso Hua Hum. You can also go to Puerto Pirihueico and return to Puerto Fuy the same day looking at the most marvellous sceneries in the world!

Puerto Fuy - Pirehueico Lake
Lago Pirehueico, located in Puerto Fuy, comuna of Panguipulli, Los Ríos Region, Chile. How to get there? You have several options to get there, for example: By Plane: to Temuco's airport, from there you can take local locomotion to get to the destination By Car: if you prefer to travel by car you must take route 5 south to the south of Temuco, to take the road to Panguipulli, then direction to Puerto Fuy. By Bus: if the bus is your option to travel, you must take one with direction to the south, destination panguipulli, and from there take local locomotion to get to Puerto fuy. Is a very special place, because near of this place are interesting national reserves for example: 1. The National Reserve Huilo-Huilo 2. The Biological National Reserve of Deers But that's not the only important thing, because the Pirehueico is a link between two countries Chile and Argentina, also if you want cross the lake you can do it by ferry called Hua Hum. There the weather is summer season is very kind, during the day is warm with a fresh breeze, but at night is very cold. Having this in consideration you should take warm clothes with you too. Another interesting thing about this place is the food and beer fair, because here you can taste the local flavor of both, and also share with local people.
