Fantastic experience

What an amazing experience. We hired a boat for 3 hours and it cost less than €200 including petrol. We would highly recommend using this place if you are thinking of hiring a boat for the day (or part of a day). We took the bus from Como to Argegno - about 45 mins up the west side. We were made to feel very welcome by this warm and friendly family owned business. All the paperwork was laid out for us and really easy to complete. We were recommended a route around the lake in the time we had which was really helpful to know. We were given clear instructions on how to use the boat, stay safe and what to do if we got in to any trouble. It could not have been easier and smoother. A fantastic experience and a great way to see Lake Como away from the crowds.

Fabulous, great value and best way to explore the lake
We dreamed of renting a boat to explore the lake by ourselves but didn’t think it was within our price range. We were wrong! For less than £200 (including fuel) we were able to hire a boat for three hours after enquiring with only two days notice via email. Communication was excellent, they replied to emails very swiftly with all the info we needed and were so lovely to deal with. The boats are immaculate and it felt like we were the first to use it. The time flew by and we were glad we opted for the three hours. You are not able to dock/park? and go ashore during your time but then why would you? There is no better way to explore the lake and I can’t recommend it enough.

Highly Recommend Turati Boat Rental.
We rented a boat for three hours during the first week of July 2022. This was a great experience. It was a family run business and the staff was friendly, helpful, and there really was nothing difficult at all. Our cost was less than 200 Euro for three hours after paying for 25 liters of fuel (fuel prices being very high right now!). Do not be intimidated if you have little or no experience operating a boat, it is really pretty easy to manage his 6 meter boat, and even in July there was not too much traffic on the lake. Plus the lake is deep and pretty much free of navigation obstacles. This was so much better than seeing the lake from the overcrowded ferry, and much much cheaper than a guided tour. This was easily the best 200 Euro I spend during our week on Lake Como. Grazie, Bobby and Jenn
