Amazing largest lake of Italy

The lake of Garda is a popular holiday location, especially for German people, it’s on the edge of Dolomiti . Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of last ice age. The northern part of the lake is narrower, surrounded by mountains and often with strong winds so it’s particularly loved by windsurfers. The south of the lake is very large and calmly, with a wonderful climate all year round

Laid back trip
Salo is agreat place to unwind and watch teh world go by. You can travel around the lake either by bus ( which s cheap) or boat ( which is not). The only downfall with the ferries is that they are always on time but never at the time you want them due to the ares they cover.

Boat tour of Lake Garda
Our goup of 10 took a private speedboat tour of Lake Garda which lasted most of the day. Highly recommend this approach to seeing the Lake. Our operator was Bertoldi Boats and our Captain was Valentino. He was very pleasant and professional. You can also cross the Lake in several Ferries, but I doubt they take you close to the attractions. This photos speak for themselves!
