Too crowded! Night skiing was the best
I couldn’t believe the queues but I suppose the skiing was very good! The night skiing I particularly enjoyed as you can ski down the black run into the town. It’s a long slope to have open at night. Basically you can ski all the way down from the cable car. I thought the cable car up to the very top was incredibly slow and it’s like a lobster pot- once you are committed to it you cannot easily escape from it and I wasted about half an hour queuing. It’s really for the non skiers!

    Incredible March Skiing
Third week in March there were minimal people on the slopes, no lines, no waiting. Granted, at around 12:00, the show at lower altitudes started to get sticky and then heavy, but the higher slopes were ok. THe overall snow level was low (lowest in years) so some rocks started to show through on the upper slopes, leading to some interesting gouges in my skis. The slopes are pretty steep, so not a place for beginners of lovers of blue slopes, but if you have some technical skills and are not sporting FIS 220cm skis, you will enjoy the slopes, the nature, the UNBELIEVABLE views, and have a grand time.
