Very good museum visit worth every penny

This was a great visit. The museum is divided in 3 sections: one floor dedicated to the history of the Wouri coast, the Sawa people, the origin of the city Douala, and of the name Cameroon, and slavery. The second floor tailors to boats, and what is in the boat, the naval experience. I really enjoyed this exhibit of a real boat control room, with all the different types of boats, and the safety features, as well as the ship simulator. The 3rd floor has a beautiful conference room shaped as the inside of a boat, and a 3D simulator room called "La salle de Tempetes" which is very good. The cherry on the cake is the roof part where you get a view of the port of Douala, and Bonanjo. Very outstanding! and I do hope more Cameroonians visit. Did I say the guides were very good.

Nice presentation of the Port harbour area
For kids and older, the pirogue simulator ont he top floor is a must! They also have a example of all the type of wood of Cameroon. And story of Douala port and boats is a nice think to learn.
