Fabuloso

We went with my partner and my two children (5 and 7), I recommend doing the tours in two days, especially if you are going to do the Macuco trail (very long). The weather is important if you go on a very hot day, you will not have a good time and the gnats will bite you (bring repellent) The meals inside the park were not expensive for me (empandas 2 U$S, salads 7 U$S, soft drinks 2 U$S) You can also take your own food and eat in the authorized places.

    Scenic walkabout
The park is very easy to get to by bus from the city, Rio uruguay is the bus company and theres multiple stands/office where you can purchase. Get round trip. The ride there stops at both borders and takes about 45min-1 hour. If you pre buy your ticket online and download the pdf, there is a short line on the far right once you get there where they will just print your ticket and you womt have to wait in the long main line. As far as the walking loops, I'd recommend just doing whichever is less crowded when you get there first; the upper or lower circuit. I liked doing the lower circuit first, getting a further away view and seeing the 'smaller' falls, then ending with the devils throat. The line was huge for the train so I walked to the platform and rode the train back. Could be worth waiting in line depending on you; it took me 25 min walking at a decent pace and the ground is mostly gravel and it's hot. Devils throat is definitely the highlight, be ready to get wet!

    Wonder of nature
The park is very large and offers options to spend from half-a-day to more than one day visit. We used taxi for the 20 minutes ride from Puerto Iguazu to the park. There are also public buses. There is a long queue to buy tickets and to enter the park. Better to buy tickets in advance through the internet site. Ideal to get there at 8am when the park opens. Weather in summer is very hot (35 C, 90% humidity) so use light clothes and plenty of water. There are three paths: 1) Devil´s Throat, 2) Lower Trail, 3) Upper Trail, all beautiful. Each trail takes circa 1.5 hours walk. I recommend to do them in that order, taking the internal train that takes you from the park entrance to Devil´s Throat station (20 min ride, free), where the trail to Devil´s Throat starts. The same train brings you back to the other station where Upper and Lower Trails start. All trails are quite easy, mostly flat except the Lower one that is a bit up and down. There are some bars at the entrance and at the train stations that offer food and drinks, a bit junky but enough for a lunch pause. There are several animals in the park that are easy to spot, from monkeys to birds.
