    Interesting Museum
This museum has a split personality holding both an ancient masters section and an ultra modern art section. The former includes medieval religious sculptures as well as paintings of Bruegel and Cranach among others. As to the contemporary art works displayed, many are of questionable tastes and talents. The Museum itself is quite modern and spacious.

Good location - permanent collection is excellent
The photos of this museum suggest that it is quite small, but the tower is just a small part. It is divided into two parts with traditional dutch artists on the lower level - this is a fascinating exhibition showing paintings and carvings going back to 1400 - it is amazing to see what was achieved in this era and how art progressed during the next 200 years. The modern exhibition was disappointing, but it does take you into the roof of the tower which is worth visiting in itself.
