Nature gem outside tipical crowded destination and great guidance !
Cave Samograd is the only touristic cave within the Grabovaca cave park. Appropriate footwear and long sleeves are required for the visit (the temperature is around 8°).

Loved out family outing
We loved our tour and very glad we decided to do this. The tour guide was fabulous. We ended up having a private tour as it was just my family on the tour we attended. My kids, aged 4 and 6 were so comfortable with the guide to ask lots of questions and he was great with them. The cave itself was great, nice and big. The tour stops and starts as the guide tells you about various parts at each stop, which made the steps relatively easy (although some parts were steep). Would definately recommend it.

Beautiful cave in the Lika
To visit the cave you have to drive 30 minutes from main highway. But the visit really pays off. The ticket is 45 kuna which is around 6,7 euros. With the ticket you get the guide also. At the summer the cave is open until 20:00 The walk to cave isn't the problem at all. Cave has 4 halls and they are very beautiful, especially if you are geologist or speleologist. Temperature is at the cave around 6-8 °C so prepare long sleeves if you are going to visit. Also, personal recommendation is that after the cave you walk around the tracks of cave park Grabovaca to viewpoint from which you can see everything in view of 50km around on a good weather. You can see the Velebit and the Gospic city and also villages and places around with river Lika. Try to find Lika river viewpoint also that is nearby and is gorgeous also for all nature lovers.
