    Nice huge park
Easily reached via cab (less than rmb20 from downtown). Queue to get in wasnt long, rmb10 to enter park only and rmb50 for visit to the tomb. We also paid extra rmb10 (in cash) once inside park for the shuttle from main gate to the tomb area. During the shuttle we passed by the park which was well maintained and noted many locals dancing around. Upon reaching the tomb,we alighted and there are still many "gates"to get through. So unless the weather is nice, suggest to take the shuttle as there are still lots to walk upon reaching main tomb entrance. There aren't much explanation in English though.

    Very nice and unique place
Ah, the tomb of second emperor of the Qing dynasty - Huang Taiji, and his queen Borjite. It takes a quile to get to the tomb from the entrance, but it's worth the walk in my opinion. Nice buildings, trees and lakes are along the way. There is a coach service if you don't want to walk. The tomb is sealed so you can't see inside, but it's best to respect the dead that way. Since moving to Shenyang I would come to this place from time to time, it's very peaceful and relaxing walking in this area. I would recommend coming here in fall or early winter, best in the late afternoon, as it is very sunny and hot during other times. You wouldn't feel peaceful when it's too hot right?
