Very crowded, come at sunrise.
Certainly the most famous and photographed fountain in Rome, legend has it that whoever throws a coin into the pond will return to Rome.

Very crowded, come at sunrise.
The Trevi Fountain is a very beautiful piece of public art. This places gets beyond crowded so if you want pics without anyone I recommend you come at sunrise because after that it’s going to be packed for the rest of the day. There’s lots of people tossing coins in the fountain or taking millions of pics for that perfect IG post. Be wary of people attempting to take a Polaroid pic of you because they’re trying to sell you merchandise.

Beuatiful but Busy!
My biggest regret is not waking up early to go and visit. It is a beautiful monument but it was absolutely heaving with people and they were all rushing everyone to take pictures. I would strongly recommend going early in the morning or late sunset/ evening.
