Great Location and Panoramic Views but not a great deal to see!!
My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Rome staying at the Romanico Palace Hotel and earlier today we visited the Castel Sant’Angelo Museum which is an impressive building just a short walk away from the Vatican. We reached across the St Angelo Bridge and it didn’t take long to get our tickets (Euros 12 per Adukt - unusually no Senior Citizen discounted rate?) and begin the trek (and is something of a trek!) to the Museum Entrance. Once there, there isn’t a huge amount to see but the surrounding views more than make up for it! One of Rome’s leading attractions that is well worth a relatively short visit - before or after going to the Vatican!

    Great views!
This centrally located structure is well worth the visit and is a reasonable price for entry. Be prepared for a lengthy climb up the initial entryway and more stairs to get to the very top. The views from the top are an excellent way to see much of Rome and The Vatican. Try to AVOID the overpriced restaurant if you can, things are easily twice the cost of anywhere else.
