Amazing trip
We didn’t quite know what to expect but we were fully informed on how to sit on the sleigh and even more exciting was we were instructed on how to drive too. We had a 11km ride through the most glorious place - forest swamp and frozen lake, swapping over half way through. The five dogs in pulling us all had unique personalities and were really fascinating to watch. We all loved it and would absolutely rate it as something you must not miss.

Fantastic day
The main reason for us to travel high North was to have the chance to have a ride with a dog sled. When we ended our Lapland tour in hotel Iso-Syote we had the opportunity to do so. After a 30 minutes drive by minibus we arrived at the kennel where we could meed the lovely owners and their dogs. What a hubbub, approx. 90 dogs barking and jumping around, eagerly awaiting to start running, marvelous. After a welcome talk and information about their Husky dogs from the lady who owns the kennel together with her husband we felt that they really cared for their dogs as they were their children. Then, of we go...for a 12km long sled dog ride in the wilderness. After the ride we were offered a nice and tasty lunch that was prepared by the lady- owners mother. Thereafter we could meet he puppies, they were lovely, and so clean and healthy. Can highly recommend this excursion, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you

Must visit
Fabulous is the only word to describe this place. The woman, Jonna who runs the site with her husband is so passionate and caring towards the dogs it's wonderful. The dogs are well cared for and love to run. The area is beautiful and worth a visit for that alone. The ride through the forest is done with safety and enjoyment in mind. The bonus is you actually get to control the sledge which is amazing. A must visit if you get the chance
