Smaller/quicker climb compared to Saana. Less crowded, but still with a nice view, walking distance to the "peak" from the city centre.

    Short relaxing hike
    To go up on Salmivaara it,s an easy and short cut, but the views on the way over Saana and Kilpisjarvi are pretty much breathtaking and same is the panoramic view from the top.

    Nice scenary
    The hike up wasn't very long but quite steep. But here the hike was also worth the hike. Up you can get a nice scenary to Saana, Kilpisjärvi town and Kilpisjärvi lake. The weather was a bit cloudy but it didn't make the trip any worse.
