Perfect day ice fishing
We had a perfect day on the snow mobile I’ve fishing safari with our three children aged 6, 12 and 13. This is a small family run business and it feels very personal, our guide was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was only the five of us and one couple but this is a small group company and it felt very special. The route for the snowmobiles took us through beautiful forests to the lake and home via the hill view of the sunset. At the lake our host taught us how to drill the ice and fish. He also chatted to our kids while we made a fire on the ice and made us sausages and hot juice. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly.

One of our best days ever
After getting our first taste of snowmobiling during a safari the day before, we went to Polar Creek to rent a machine to go out by ourselves. The snowmobile was state of the art and Maria was very accommodating. Being out in the wilderness on your own, being able to stop whenever you want and drive wherever you want (as long as you keep yoo the tracks of course) is really incredible and beats joining a tour and queuing behind a guide by a mile

Fantastic Snowmobile Rental
Me and my wife recently got married at nearby Kakslauttanen and we rented a snowmobile for an evening from Maria and Andrey on our last night in Lapland. It was a last minute decision but they were very flexible and were prepared to have everything ready even quicker than we could manage! Everything about the experience was great from start to finish and was beyond our expectations. Booking was simple, the gear that comes with the rental (boots, overalls, helmets etc) was fantastic quality and the snowmobile itself was excellent. Our only regret is not discovering this place sooner as we would most certainly loved to have rented a snowmobile for several days. They are so fuel efficient too! We spent a good 4 hours going up hills, travelling all the way down to Kakslauttanen and back and all at decent speeds too, and even with the expensive fuel prices in Lapland it only cost 9 euros in fuel! Bargain!!!! We are already looking forward to coming back to Lapland and will be getting in touch with Polar Creek nearer the time to book a snowmobile again!
