Kids come first! Kids find a fun playground right next to the Front Slopes. When the adults enjoy some skiing on the slopes, the sledging hill and daily activities at the Kids' Land offer lots of fun and things to do for the younger members of the family. At Kids' Land, there are two poma lifts for children to practise skiing. You can borrow sledges, sliders and stigas for children to play at Kids' Land area. If you get cold, warm up in a Lappish hut next to a blazing fire while enjoying a hot drink. It is also possible to bring along your own packed lunch or grill sausages in a hut. The indoor day care center Tenavatokka is a safe and fun place for the smallest kids and babies. You can bring your children to play and do handicrafts whenever your family needs a break. All events at Kids' Land are free of charge!

Fab for children .
Kids land Levi is found by the left of the front piste tucked away in the corner up a hill and about a five minute walk from zero point. It is a great place for beginer ski ers and children with 3 small slopes with drag lifts and a seperate play area to play on outdoor activities. There are sledges,ski type go carts,mini snowboards that can be tied to children boots and a swing.Normally it has a merry go round for children but that was not available to use this year. There is a lovely small Kotta hut where you can light the fire and take a warm up.There is also a indoor hut where you can help yourselfs to warm berry juice and sit by the open fire. There are also toilets and a children creche area which also looked good and staff and children seemed happy when we took alook around. Its a lovely place set in a lovely area.Im sure your children will have lots of fun there.

Kids Land - absolutely excellent
Kids Land is tucked away on the far left hand side of the front piste as you look towards it. There are all sorts of different types of sledges freely available as well as some strap on skis and snowboards all of which are completely free to use. You turn up and just grab a sledge and start playing! There is a little ski-lift, just a rope system that the kids can use and also those bigger kids amonsgt us!! What was really great is tat as a parent you're more than welcome to sledge along with them and race down the slope! There was a lovely cotta to one side with an open fire where you can warm up (you'll need to, an hour outside leaves you chilled no matter how many layers you have on!) and warm juice is warming on the fire ready for you to help yourself to. Kids land also has a creche facility where the kids are very well looked after and the standard of care far outstrips that of the UK. My children loved it here and we came back everyday!
