Exceeded the expectations
Incredible exhibitions on different topics. Great display of the artefacts and use of modern technology. Will keep even the youngest visitors engaged and the older ones will definitely not be be bored as well. Great place to learn about the culture, nature and history of Finland. If your in Ravaniemi, you should definitely see this museum.

A good way to kill an hour or two in Rovaniemi
We were staying in the Santa Claus Village but ventured into Rovaniemi to pick up our rented winter gear so decided to spend the morning in the city centre. The winter garden area outside the museum itself is well worth a visit with views over a frozen lake. The museum itself is good, if a little pricey.
