Very much hit and miss this attraction, very expensive really for what it is. Fortunately we had a discount due to holding blue light cards (40%) though even with the discount it’s expensive for basically a lift ride to 300 ft and then a few short flights of stairs to the top. The view is not bad and you can see 360 views of Blackpool but that’s pretty much it. The 4D presentation is poor and reminded me of tourist promotional board bundle, plus the cosmetic smoke effects only happen with the middle part of the standing area so if your on the right like we were you didn’t notice it. Apparently in days gone by you used to be able to buy tower day tickets (which were cheaper) and allowed you to do loads on the tower though that seems to have changed. Too many people also way crammed into such a relatively small space like cattle, numbers should be reduced

Tower eye (not covid safe)
Visited here last week while on holiday. We are a couple with a 3 year old. Loved the 4d cinema then went round to the lift. Absolutly crammed in the lift which in covid times is unacceptable plus at 27 degrees and if we knew this would NOT have gone up, not one person was wearing a mask. Far too many people were let in on the "so" called time slot and was packed at the top. We got a drink from the bar 2 bottles of coke and a bottle of water nearly £7. On a good note the staff were great especially the 2 young girls running the lift who let us go back down and up again as my 3 year old needed the toilet. I understand the idea of ramming 20 people into a lift to get people to the top quicker seams a good idea but if you are doing this then masks should be worn. Would i go up again probably not. So if you are concerned about the covid situation my advice is to avoid.
