A day in the countryside in Lampung

We had a phantastic day with Mr. P. He took us to the countryside in Lampung and made as aware of so many things. Having lunch with his family was exectional authentic, as well helping on the rice field. All the time he was a perfect entertainer with humor. His house shows a high degree of sustainability with some smart solutions. Thanks a lot.

Loved every minute!
This type of tour is not usually our thing, but our bed & breakfast host highly recommended it. We loved every minute of this tour and we're so glad we did it! Mr. P was a wonderful and entertaining host. He even arranged for my husband and I to have our own interpreter for English, since the rest of the participants spoke French (Mr. P speaks both). We learned so much about his community and Thai culture, food, cottage industries, and agriculture. We had a hands-on cooking demonstration followed by a fabulous lunch cooked by our host, his wife, and his mother, in their home. We got to taste some interesting things at nearby farms and even get in the mud and plant rice in a rice paddy! What Mr. P is doing to help support and promote his community and its way of life is truly awe-inspiring. What a great day. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that will be in the Chiang Mai or Lamphun area!

A great insight to rural life, work and culture
Pii guided us professionally through a day full of interesting activities. That's what I liked most about this tour, we could 'do' something! All of the experience seems natural and authentic. Cooking some very delicious thai dishes with fresh ingredients, planting rice in the fields and supporting the local old people by attending the tour, these were my highlights. Pii organised everything to detail, from rooster fighting, cricket farm to cooking class. Just perfect!
