Wish I had had more time to be able to spend here. There is so much resources for the history of Kingsport.

a great place to get books to read and enjoy the scenery and love the comfortable chairs the staff are polite and friendly

Don't bother trying to donate
I find it very strange that they would intentionally make it harder than need be to support the library. I tried to donate a couple of hundred dollars worth of books to the library – most of them hard cover – all of them in excellent condition. After lugging the books into the library, I was informed that I could not donate books at the library (they would not accept them at the main library location). I had to call so-and-so and make arrangements to donate the books at another location. This was the last time I’ll try to donate to the Kingsport Library.
