Great little place to visit. Sample their Spirits and check out the FF Displays
We stopped after seeing the name on a billboard. As a FF myself, I was intrigued. There are some great FF displays. The gentleman working was very knowledgeable about the distilling process and answered all my questions. I tried 2 flavors of shine and 1 Vodka for free. There were 6 or 7 different flavors of shine. I recommend the Honey flavor. It was a bit smoother than some of the others.

Didn't plan on buying that many bottles.
I saw this place on Google Maps when looking to see what this city had to offer. The band I'm in kicked off Funfest this year. The sound guy and myself decided to get to Kingsport early just to try this place out, since we both love whiskey. This place did not disappoint. I love the fact that actual firemen operate the distillery. I was also pleased to hear that Hook and Ladder doesn't believe moonshine or whiskey should be less than 80 proof. Yet they still sell it for the same price as those guys in Gatlinburg. We tried all of their spirits and was floored by how good all of them were. Seriously, all their flavors were great. What surprised us the most was how smooth the regular moonshine and bourbon was. They had a good deal on the bottles, so we walked way with 5. I'm looking forward to the bourbon because it's truly a "small batch". Also, the Salted Watermelon has a hint of fruity pebbles!

Five Alarm Good Time!!!
We loved my visit to the Hook and Ladder distillery! The Fire House decor is authentic and the founder is a retired fire Captain. The flavors are spot on smooth and the straight white lightening is high voltage! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!
