    Meat Eating Dinosaur Musem
Located in downtown Kenosha, this small one room museum houses only meat eating dinosaur skeletons. The display is nicely presented and written descriptions are easily read. The younger children might lose interest quickly as there is no animation or techno stuff. But if your family really wants to get up close to the meat eaters of the past then this small room is a real treasure. Allow about 30 minutes to check things out. There is no charge and street parking was not a problem.

    Dino fun!
Loved the display of various types of dinosaurs the museum had, and particularly appreciated the exhibit cards calling out where you would natively find each dinosaur (Note: no fossils have been found in Wisconsin to date!). I think my favorite display was that of Deinocheirus, native to Mongolia. They only had the arms but they dwarfed practically every other dinosaur skeleton on display with just that alone! There’s a small section that is great for kids where they can pretend they are digging and unearthing dinosaur fossils. There’s a small parking lot as well as ample street parking. The whole place is free to enter but please support the museum with a donation.
