I stopped off here on my way back from lake Geneva not quite knowing what to expect . I’m glad I stopped . This area was very scenic . It has 2 lighthouses , an old streetcar line , a trolley , an old sail boat ride throughout the day , beautiful landscapes gardens along the entire area , nice walkways alongside the waterway , fishing areas . The fog was rolling off Lake Michigan and it was breezy and beautiful there was a lgbt fest and an arts and crafts fair going on in 2 separate areas . The walk along the sculptures is very relaxing and beautiful . The sculptures are well done and interesting & well maintained. This area is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. There is a public beach within a 5 min drive . Beautiful area . See more..
