Loved this house of Tunku Abdul Rahman. Learnt a lot about his family and history. Photography is not allowed inside the house. Free entrance. A must-visit for history buffs.

It is a monument to Malaysian independence
This house belongs to the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, Prime Minister of Malaysia and one of the greatest historical fathers of the nation of Malaysia. The house is obviously slightly modified and retouched to stand the weather and the pollutant agents of the modern city of Alor Setar. However, this place is a must visit because it does help in giving you the feeling of nationhood the Malaysian people under the gemilang felt in the historical moment they got free from the British Empire
