The Bujang Valley is a sprawling historical complex and has an area of approximately 224 square kilometres situated near Merbok, Kedah, between Gunung Jerai in the north and Muda River in the south. It is the richest archaeological area in Malaysia.

    Totally Underrated
    This place is totally underrated. I had very little knowledge about this place before I came, and I was totally amazed by the collections in the museum. BUT never expect it is as good as Angkor Wat or Borobudur. Only come here if you are interested in history and enjoy reading, facts are all in written form. The downside is the maintenance and publicity of the place, air conditioning was not functioning at the time I visited.

    history of kedah revisited
    visited the museum to retouch my history. Learned a lot of new things about the old trade routes and about the travellers in the 16th and 17th century. Very factful visit. I would recommend this to history buffs.
