Secret Lake is a mass grave site from the Khmer Rouge.

The Secret Lake is a man-made lake or dam, that grows and shrinks with the seasons. Built using slave labour during the Khmer Rouge rule, it is believed that the lake received its name not because of its hidden location, but because of what lies beneath it. The story is that the Khmer Rouge built the dam using with the help of prisoners and captured villagers. During the construction thousands of Cambodians lost their lives and were buried in a mass grave beneath the lake. The name Secret Lake therefore denotes the secret location of the mass graves.

Pretty lake that would be great for a dip, but
Pretty lake that would be great for a dip, but I couldn't find a way into it. there was lots of fishing going on and I saw it by moto, but I really wanted to swim but couldn't find an entry point. Still the views are great.

“Secret Lake”
We stopped here as part of a Countryside Tuk-Tuk Tour from our hotel and this place was called Secret Lake. I don’t know why it’s a secret but it was still a pleasant 15-minute stop. People said they would’ve gone swimming here but the water didn’t look clean enough to have a dip. It is located by La Plantation and wouldn’t advise a day trip here if you weren’t going to the cave or plantation as well.
