Very interesting museum

Lots of photographs letters etc and interesting art work -also very interesting architecture dating back to the 80's

Lovely
The complex includes museum that has a lot of 19th century photos and a few personal effects; defensive tower where Ilia was born during Lezgin's rampaging in the area; and a family home that has only three rooms and much smaller than attached winner (marani). House is located on the square in the city center just near other attractions of Kvareli. Entrance charge was 1 GEL and English speaking guide was available.

A palace
This palace has undergone a big renovation job and is looking in reasonable condition, though signs of wear are beginning to show. The grounds are beautiful and include a labyrinth, shady walkways and small cafe around the back.
