Wow! Large statue and serene compounds worth a visit!
A little off the beaten path and needs to be accessed by car, this temple holds the largest thousand arm chenrezig statue in the world outside of Tibet. 16-metre high, it holds holy relics and objects from masters of different traditions and scriptures in a rural environment. There are private rooms and dormitories for rental too. Recommended to spend one or two hours there to tour the site!

A peaceful haven in the midst of natural green surroundings
The greeneries made me feel at peace as soon as we arrived. The meditation centre, of Tibetan style, is impressive by its size, and so is the Guan Yin statute inside! I was told it measures 38 feet tall and it is possibly the largest representation of the Buddha of Compassion in Southeast Asia. At my first look at the majestic statute, I started to cry. I don't know why but I could not control. My heart was immediately kind of filled with love by looking at it. I started to feel relieved of all the things kept inside my heart. The staff was very friendly and guided me with patience in the centre as I did not know anything about all the different statutes and rituals there. I met there a nun too. Her smile was contagious. :) The centre offers a wide variety of programmes. We will come back next March to do a retreat for 3 days. It will be my first one! I am so excited! Thank you all for your generous hospitality there

Buddha Temple
This is a buddha temple and recently moving into their new building (behind old building). Informed by one if their staff, the buddha is 48ft tall. Most of the visitors are from Singapore
