Bridge into Muar
The Sultan Ismail Bridge is a bridge that spans the River Muar, near the mouth of the river. It's one of the main vehicular entrances from Melaka into muar and it's one busy bridge. It's supposed to be both a vehicle and pedestrian access bridge, but AFAICT there's no pedestrianised sections on the bridge. While not a beautiful bridge, it's an impressive great if engineering as it spans almost 400m across the river. The bridge it's constructed on box girders to better withstand the torsion forces caused by the regular flooding. The bridge does provide nice views of the river as my bus crossed to and from Melaka, and also has a couple of Malaysian style towers flanking the south Muar entrance from where you can get more views of the river. Other than that, I wouldn't go out of the way to see it.

It's a bridge
It's a bridge to connect two parts of the town. At night, there's some lovely lighting. Not a must-see unless in the area at night.
