We are a privately-owned and operated safari park! During a day trip, you can enjoy a tractor-tram ride through our property with one of our unique tour guides. You’ll meet over 600 animals, 45 exotic species!! You can also pack a lunch to enjoy in our shaded picnic area, and hang out with our petting zoo and caged critters during business hours. Extend your stay by booking one of our Safari-Style Cabins. Situated in the middle of our safari park, you will have access to a resort pool, outdoor cooking and dining, a huge projection screen TV and pool table on the outdoor pavilion. There is also private access to a stocked catch-and-release pond, nightly bonfires and an outdoor playscape! You are absolutely guaranteed to have a unique and personal hands-on experience when you visit us with all your family and friends!

Family Fun
We had a wonderful time visiting the exotic zoo. We had 4 kids (7, 10, 12, 14) and all ages enjoyed the zoo. We took the tractor tour late in the afternoon. The tour guide was so knowledgeable. She really tried to get as close as she could so everyone could feed the animals. After the tour, the kids wanted to stay and feed the goats with the rest of the bucket. Even though the park was closing, no one rushed us out. The employees are so nice and pleasant here! This was the highlight of our trip to Texas!

Up Close and Personal . . .
A friend suggested I visit this zoo and it was a great experience. The tram is a great way to see lots of animals since they are able to take you through the pens off the paved roads. The animals are expecting you and come right up to the sides for food. Photographers might prefer to drive through (with food to attract the animals) to get a more natural angle for photos. Many of mine are from the top of the animals as they crowd around the tram. The tram makes one stop in each pen which is not enough for a photographer. Next visit I will drive. This is a terrific family outing and the kids on our tram loved interacting with all the animals. My suggesting for the zoo is to have pictures of the animals with their names hanging inside each tram so riders can familiarize themselves with the names and not just call them deer, or sheep, etc.
