Comprising nearly 50,000 square meters and a six-acre sculpture garden, this complex features an impressive variety of collections from prehistoric archaeology to contemporary art.The children's wing is the most interactive section of this sprawling museum. There are special activities for kids during Jewish holidays and school vacations.

Best Museum
This museum is amazing, and one of my favourite museums in the world! We spent 6 hours here and honestly could have spent longer. Each of the 3 main wings are exceptionally curated. For me, the Jewish Art and Life museum was an absolute standout, especially the reconstructed synagogues. I would recommend downloading the audio guide to your phone because if you're like me, you'll run the battery down on the museum's free audio guide before you've even finished one wing! Also, the coffee in the on-site cafe was very decent and a much-needed energy boost.

A must see with one of their guides
We have visited this museum previously but this visit was much better with a guide from the museum. We had a tour in English for about 2 hours that really highlighted the important features of the museum beyond what you might understand while touring on your own. Highly recommend asking to schedule with one of their guides. It was included with admission price but must be arranged in advance.
