    Worth the time
The Bible Lands Museum hosts artifacts from the Middle East dating back to around 3,500 BCE up through the early Christian Era. For those who may have gotten confused by its name, the Bible Lands Museum is not a Museum about the history of the Bible. To the contrary, most of the artifacts attempt to show life in the ancient Middle East. In some cases, the exhibits try to tie artifacts to bible passages. The museum is relatively small and can be seen over a few hours. The exhibits are presented chronologically, starting with humans as hunter gathers. For anyone interested in ancient Middle East culture, it is a must see. The entry fee is 44 NIS or roughly $12 US. There is a small refreshment area.

    Rich display of ancient times
Bible lands museum is an archaeology museum, telling the story of ancient people and empires in the Mesopotamia region and its surrounding territory at ancient times. The museum is split into galleries, each focused on a topic (communication, religion, economics, cities, etc.). The display is very rich with thousands of artifacts, most of them deserve a thorough examination, so this museum can take hours to explore, if you are into ancient civilizations. I enjoyed the displays and artifacts a lot. I wish there were more interactive displays, helping to deepen the experience. There is a guided tour @ 11:00am. There is also an option to get an audio companion device on the tour. The museum of bible lands is situated right across the Israel Museum, there is an option to get a combined ticket.
