Great stories of history and ghosts
went on a Friday night and the gourd was and 75 to 80 people. Our tour guide was excellent She is very knowledgeable on the history of the town and the buildings. She is also a very good story teller. the tour was about 2 1/2 hours long, mainly due to the size of the group. You do a lot of walking, so it is important to wear comfortable shoes

Fun evening activity
I recommend purchasing tickets online for this. Highlights of the walk: The Jefferson Hotel. Talk about a creepy hotel. The hotel owner allowed us access to the hallways and sneak peeks into some rooms. The Doll Room is where nightmares are made. He even showed us security cam videos of actual "ghosts" in the hotel and of dolls moving unexplainably. Hearing stories of all the murders in Jefferson history was also fascinating. Lowlights: It is a HOT activity in the late summer months! lots of walking. The walk is about two hours long and when you have such a large group there is a lot of waiting on stragglers to catch up, which stinks when you are really hot. Tour guide has been doing it a long time and is very knowledgeable.

Very Crowded
We took this tour on a Saturday night. There were somewhere around 75 people in our group. There was only one guide. Due to the size of the group the one hour ghost tour took two. There were 5 stops including the starting point. I have taken several walking tours and ghost tours. This one felt hurried and impersonal. The personal feel where you interact with the guide is my preference. If you donot mind being in a large group this is a good tour. Jody is very knowledgable and weaves a good tale.
