Nice place n atmosphere. A bit crowded n can be a bit too loud. But the service is great n the staff very Nice.

We LOVE Vemdalen
For the 5 th time we visit Vemdalen, and live in the nice appartmenst in Vemdalskalet. We LOVE IT! The skiing is nice when you have children in different ages. The teenagers can ski by them self, without the concern of them getting lost, like in the big ski areas south, were you can cross boarders ;-) The small children can have loads of fun on all the green/blues slopes and everybody can meet up for a nice lunch. The ICA and ski shops are well equiped. The snow train takes you nice and comfortable to Vemdalen and the holiday begins when you sit in the train. We Love Vemdalen, and we have already booked for 2021 !!

Great Family Holiday
Easy to get to by Easyjet, cheaper than the Alps by far with superior quality accommodation, facilities, food etc, Small mountains for beginner, intermediate and pro, but still challenging enough with some off-piste possibilities and tiny lift queues in Jan so you can just shoot up and down. Vemsdalen has two peaks which are linked so a good run out is possible. We had lots of snow in Jan and we would go again. It can get busy in Feb we were told
