    Worth a look.
We walked past this two-story building close to Marafor Square and stopped to admire it. It is one of the few surviving examples of residential architecture of the Romanesque period. Built in the 13th century, the building was renovated and expanded many times, the last major renovations being carried out during the 18th century, when the second floor was converted and the wooden balcony added. The house has maintained the characteristics of Romanesque residential architecture and has no internal partition walls. It is definitely worth a look if you are passing by.

Attractive building with good gift shop below
Wander round porec at leisure and dont forget to look up. All sorts of attractive buildings can be found in the WHS area. This is one of them just off a small square near to a park which the locals seem to use more than tourists.. Nice quirky gift shop at street level, and a wonderful building in a wonderful town
