Beautiful stroll

We went walking from our hotel Lone towards the old city of Rovijn en it was just a little too hot to walk with the kids, around 35 degrees, but besides that the city is just beautiful and it's full of cozy corners with amazing structures of the old city which for me looks like venetia very much and by the harvor it's just Saint Tropez. It's well worth the visit to the city. We also talked towards the highest point which is where the church of Santa Eugenia is and went all the way up to the tower of the chapel en the view is stunning. It's a must see case there you can see the whole city of Rovijn en for me.that was the best photo location of whole Rovijn .

Ideal place for a relaxing stroll before or after evening dinner
All part of the experience of visiting Rovinj is to wander down the main street, Grisia. It is a lovely reminder of a different Venetian past with loads of little alleyways and tightly packed houses, many with small touristy style shops and boutiques where you can pick up the usual mementos and souvenirs of your summer holiday here. We recommend going towards dusk. You can then savour the atmosphere towards the end of a bright sunny day where you can hide in the shadows from the fierce sun until later in the evening where the little bars, restaurants and shops are romantically all it up. It's the sort of place to come to to enjoy a typical, relaxing summer evening whilst on holiday.

    Colourful And Cosmopolitan.
The main street runs alongside the harbour and is distinctly Mediterranean in atmosphere, with a very Latin vibe - helped by the multitude of "home-made" ice-cream parlours, and the terracotta & pastel- washed Italianate buildings. It is mainly pedestrian, bar the odd taxi, delivery van or scooter - and the cobbled street is kept spotlessly clean. There's a variety of canopied restaurants & cafes to choose from either side, and individual shops selling craft goods, Croatian gourmet foodstuff, souvenirs and clothes amongst others. You will hear accents from all over the world - we picked out American, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Irish and saw large escorted parties of Japanese tourists doing whistle -stop tours. It also seems to be a favourite place for dog-walkers.(I've never encountered so many on a holiday.) A brilliant spot for people-watching too.
