Grad Poreč, Istria, Croatia

4.5 (34 reviews) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #12 in Porec Government Buildings

A magnificent piece of architecture in Porec.

The Porec Town Hall is a magnificent building built in 1910 by an architect from Trieste named Arduino Berlam. The building is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and large palms and it is extremely well maintained. It is a tourist hot spot with beautiful views of the marina and there are always people sitting on the benches outside the Town Hall with cameras at the ready waiting for a photo opportunity.

    CHAMPION OF TOURISM
Poreč is every year champion on some list, for cleanest, for biggiest number of tourists, for cleanest sea or something else. Anyway this city is so nice that if you are on other part of Istria, you need to come and visit. Nice beaches and hotels out of the city in Green and Blue Lagune, and old city center with its famous Eufrasian Basilic. Old stone main street and nice riva to walk, take a some drinks or have lunch or diner by the sea. In the summer it is crowded and occupated by tourist butit is must see.
