Aquapark „Istralandia“ This amazing waterworld spread on over 81 000 m2 is located only 5 km from the seashore, on direct Novigrad-Nova Vas highway exit and the main road between the highway and town of Novigrad. „Istralandia“ offers abundance of relaxation and excitement with guaranted adrenaling dosage on 20 different slides with over 1,6 km of tubes; high and aslope for the brave ones, slides with rubber boats and the latest technolgy tube-slides. „Istralandia“ has the largest wave pool in this part of Europe. Aquaprk „Istralandia“ is also intended for families with children of all ages for whom adrenaline dosage and fun can be found on children's tower. In October 2014 Aquapark „Istralandia“ has won in Rome, Italy a special award for the eneterprener project of the year in the category of new water parks, known as the „Oscar of the entertainment parks“. Great. Just not in peak season...
It's a truly great parc. The number and diversity of slides is great. And the cleanliness is outstanding. It's all very, very well maintained. Wherever you go. Food is pretty damn expensive. Entrance fee is (coming from NL) reasonable. Have done slides which don't compare to anything I've seen in the past. Black Kamikaze, Free Fall, Space Rocket, Space Combo to name the top ones. Especially the Black Kamikaze is so fast with a amazing ending. But... high season... makes it terrible. Queues (e.g. Space Combo) of over one hour. That just annoying, big time. In today's world the technological solution to this problem isn't complicated. Give everybody a bracelet (e.g. you already get this when opting for a locker). Then, like in other parcs have you 'register' for a ride in advance, knowing what the queue time will be. Entrance will only be possible within the reserved time-slot. That will better distribute the guests over the slides. Plus; maybe opt (I understand this isn't good for business) have a capped capacity for the parc. It's a pity the parc opens (only) at 10 and closes (already) at 18. Further, on the investment side add more high-capacity slides (like the Hills) and alternatives (e.g. diving towers).

Very good Aqua Park with room for improvement.
Dear Istralandia Team and Management, first of all thank you for the great time in Istralandia. Water slides and park was very we’ll maintained. Some remarks from my side. I was at the Aqua Park at 10.15 am but we have lost 45 minutes before we changed our voucher in tickets and before we took our first ride. Means that from 8 hours we lost almost 1 hour in the beginning. Question, I have bought my voucher online and I received a QR code. It should be possible to use the code to enter (Customer friendly). Than I really respect the business sense, but maybe you should set a max. No. of visitors. We were not able to test your newest slide due to a very high waiting time. I think no slide should have waiting time longer than half an hour. In 8 hours you are just able slide roughly 10-12 times. Price/Performance ratio not so good.
