Is this Heaven? No, it’s Iowa. A place of fertile soil, traditional values and simple pleasure. And, in Dyersville, Iowa, at the century-old Lansing family farm with its quaint, and oh-so-recognizable house, baseball still ranks as a favorite pastime for all ages. What better place to carve a baseball diamond from a corn field and to make a movie about pursuing one’s dream, no matter how much effort it takes? From tours of the inside of the iconic Field of Dreams Farm House, to our retail store, to our concessions stand, there certainly is plenty to do at the place dreams come true! Is this Heaven? We sure think so! The Movie Site will be closed to the public Friday, 8/5/22 - Sunday, 8/14/22 to prepare for the highly anticipated MLB at Field of Dreams game Thursday, August 11 between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds.

Where dreams come true
Sitting in the bleachers watching my three adult sons ages 39,33 and 33 acting like 17 year olds playing baseball again warmed my heat and it has given them a little peace after the loss of their father. As a baseball family James Earl Jones said it best…it reminds us of all that once was good and that could be again. It is a magical place if you allow it to be. The people of Dyersville are a warm community and it is still a small American town. The home was quaint and comfortable.

Dreams Delivered
Our family stayed a night in the Field of Dreams home and had access to the field for an hour with the lights on. We had a spectacular time. Being on the field, under the lights, just us, was something hard to put into words. Then spending the night in the former Lansing home was just the icing on the cake. The staff was extremely professional (Craig and Megan) and Craig's very insightful tour of the house was top notch. If anyone that has ever thought about taking the trip to Dyersville and just experiencing the area, please do it. It is well worth it.
