    Hidden sports gem
You have to look closely because you pass by quick. But it is an amazing museum. Very old school. It feels like an large trophy cabinet of the historie of famous sportsman and sportswomen of Kutaisi. However not in English language you get amazed by the quantiy of cups, scars, cerficats, photos etc. From early ages, Sovjet times, and post sovjet times untill present day. From all level of sports like speed cycling, judo, wrestling, alpine climbing, rugby, athletics, tennis and my favorite football. The famous Northern Ireland shirt of George Best is on display there.

    Wrestlers, Weightlifters and Boxers
This interesting museum feels a bit like an anachronism. Many photos of strong muscular Georgian men posing not to say posturing for the camera. Wrestlers, weightlifters, rugby players, boxers who are self confident and proud. Good to see this side of Georgia, as one sometimes gets the impression sports are not felt very important in the country of today.
