John Deere Store, Illinois, United States

Quite a selection of gear, outside exhibit too!

Wasn't expecting to spend any money here. The Pavilion Exhibit was closed but our tour took us to the store for some of our tour mates. I think we spent over $200! I couldn't resist some of the kids items and bought a shirt and computer bag for me. Yes this urban girl had fun. Really amazing John Deere equipment outside as a consultation for the pavilion not being accessible. Hope it opens soon. I am sure it is amazing.

Affordable stuff and lots of it
I wouldn't normally spend a dime on farm gear but I dropped a healthy wad of cash on things for the grand kids at the John Deere Store... and feel good about it. Really cute and reasonably priced things. Something for everyone even if you aren't a farmer. I'm glad John Deere is part of the American heritage. They speak well for America and we should all take a certain amount of pride in their accomplishments.

Everything looks better in John Deere green!
If you're a fan of John Deere, you'll love the John Deere Store. John Deere is great at marketing, so the range of items branded with their distinctive logo and colours is amazing: watches, towels, chairs, shirts, mugs, gloves, golf balls, wallets, bags, belt buckles, toys, videos, chess sets, signs, glasses.... You name it - there's something for everyone! My wife and I spent over an hour (and a fair bit of money!) at the store. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was fun to get some souvenirs to take home. The quality of most items seemed to be pretty good and the prices were fairly reasonable - e.g. ball caps ranged from $6.99 (on sale) to $16.99; pewter belt buckles were $16.99; and work gloves were $12.99. We enjoyed looking at the collectible toys. Overall, the John Deere Store is highly recommended. It's a great way to conclude a visit to the John Deere Pavilion next door. Even if you don't buy anything, it's fun to look around.
