The Woman who put the Nasca Lines on the Map--literally.
Maria Reiche was a German scientist who immigrated to Peru and spent the rest of her life--for a long time with the help of her sister--identifying and mapping the Nasca Lines. Her museum tells the story of her life, her work, and includes her room and the small cemetery where she and her sister are buried.

Excellent museum deciated to the foremost expert on the lines
We met Ms. Reiche a number of years ago when we first went to Nazca. An impressive person. Museum tells her story and the story (or a story) of the lines.
