Outstanding Musical Program

This museum is not to be missed. The musical program uses metallic bells, ceramic chimes and ancient string instruments. It must be seen and heard. We did note have a lot of time here but the ancient tomb and its contents (recently discovered in Wuhan area) must be seemed...fascinating. The metal bell sets are works of art.

    Porcelain, gold and jade !
Should you once again find d yourself looking for a blast into the past .... well I got just the place. The wuhan museum near East lake is indeed a place of vast interest ...at least for those who enjoy historical accounts with exquisite artifacts restored to pristine condition! One can not argue the cost !(free)

    Something to see
I would definitely recommend a visit to this museum if you are into looking at archaeological artifacts and are interested in learning a bit about the significance of the Hubei area in Chinese history. The museum structure itself is quite impressive and it houses a great number of State-level historical and cultural relics. While not all of the exhibit is presented in English, enough is presented really nicely to make this worth visiting. I would not recommend the audio-guide, though as only about 10% of the exhibit is detailed on it and the English is quite difficult to understand -- you are better off to read the exhibit descriptions.
