    A movie lovers dream home!
What a Gem!!!!! This historic building houses a state of the art 2 screen movie theater showing a mix of new and vintage movies. HHT also presents family friendly concerts and events like movie sing alongs! The popcorn is fresh and super delicious! It's popped with coconut oil. Admission and concession prices are very reasonable making it a great value too!

Historic theater playing independent, art, classic, and modern films
The Historic Howell Theater in downtown Howell was recently (2014) renovated to serve as a destination in Livingston County for independent, art, classic, and modern films. Every week the selection changes (see http://www.historichowelltheater.com/ for the current schedule). When I attended to see the un-paralleled "Ex Machina", the theater was also showing the classic "Most Dangerous Game", the independent film "White God", and Tim Burton's 1989 "Batman." If you are looking for something better than the usual hollywood blockbusters shown at the major theatre chains, you no longer have to drive to Birmingham or Ann Arbor for a terrific cinematic experience!
