I met up with Patrick, of Turnagain Kayak and Adventure Center, and a couple of other friends for a three day sea kayaking trip outside of Whittier, Alaska. It was the best sea kayaking I've ever experienced. We heard a whale just off of the shore at night, had a lucky Northern lights show from the beach of an island where we camped, and sea kayaked out towards Blackstone Glacier on Blackstone Bay with seals and otters. Top notch kayak instructors with a lot of experience and concern for safety, and lots of local knowledge made our kayaking trip super special, can't wait to get back for more Alaskan adventures!
